Hello all you lovely people,

Just someting for you to bear in mind. I am always breathless with my Afib, but lately it got horrendous , only being able to take approx 4 steps before fighting

for breath, Also my blood prssure was down in my boots i.e.85/42

I contaccted my Doc who sent me for urgent blood tests, this showed that I was seriously anaemic and only had half the red blood cells that I should have.

So please please, check out any serious breathlessness, Keep Safe

xx

Very good advice.

I hope you can get this treated and get well again.

Good advice, my daughter was diagnosed the same as you a few months ago. I'd also recommend having a thyroid blood test too, mine was under-active and made me feel tired and breathless.

I am so glad that you went to your GP. People do not realise how anemia can make you feel. I know because my wife was anemic for years - she also has lung conditions which didn't help but getting her iron back up - it had to be more than doubled - honestly I don't know how she could walk around bless her. When we have certain conditions we always think everything is because of that but other things can happen to. Hope you feel better soon.
