3 months post ablation.

Has anyone else found , post ablation, when exercising and their heart rate goes up but it doesn't come back down for several hours? I've had heart failure 20 years but only arrythmias for 1 year so I can only put it down to the ablation. I don't have AF which is a blessing but something doesn't seem right.

Sounds normal to me. Raised HR post ablation is very common anyway as we explain in our fact sheet on recovery. I always found it took nine months to a year to fully settle down.

Thanks Bob. I'm trying to get hold of the EP that did the ablation but I've no doubt he will suggest a CRT-D which is not what I want but I may have to accept defeat.
