Hi Lovely ladies and gentlemen out there i hope you are all keeping well in these strange times. In January I had my third ablation under general anaesthesia as ablation number three went wrong when they pieced my heart.
I was so hopeful it would work but two weeks ago I had permanent AF for five days at 140 which flecnide didn't touch. On top of that two episodes of SVT (never had that before). The second one was fast at 240 so an ambulance blue lit me to a and e which scared the pants off me.
They did this odd thing where you blow into a syringe for 15 sec at which point they lower your head down and raise both your legs at the same time it must of looked very odd but worked and got me out of SVT leaving only AF of 130.
They put me on bisoparol of 5 mg orid drug felt so depresed tired and achy so made them drop it to 2.5 mg which I am just about tolerating.
EP called it a blip ???? And the ablation might of worked ....here's hoping as don't want to go through that again
Love and virtual hugs to you all
Debbie
