Just been told the post by Bill Gates is fake news!

Well who ever wrote it has told the facts to me anyway. So I don’t care. It’s still relevant, so sorry to those who found it offensive.

In my opinion, the thing to remember about any forum is that people will offer all sorts of advice, opinions and suggestions generally based on their own experiences. Whether people accept or reject what’s said is, of course, entirely up to them. Most people, I think, will relate positively to the content of your post regardless of who was responsible for originally writing it........

I'm trying. AF is all new for me. Had myocarditis in January followed by AF about 8 weeks afterwards. At first diagnosed with heart attack as I believe symptoms are similar. This forum has helped enormously get my AF into perspective. With current affairs going on in self isolating with hubby spending time writing. My last health issue when I had breast cancer i used parts of that experience in a book I published. A romance that shows how I felt. I'm one of the lucky ones. Cancer visited and left me 31 years ago. Stay safe and have a great day.

I agree - it doesn't matter who wrote it. It might be Bill Gates or 'The Man in The Pub' (remember Viz ?) I enjoyed reading it.

I suspected that and ignored its content. Bill Gates isn't an angel but has done wonderful things with his money. What is more worrying to me is that someone sits and writes these things. That amazes me - who and why?

I was thinking more generally of fake news and the “meme”-like things that flood social media. There’s a far-from-innocent, devious (and very wealthy) political PR company behind most of them.

I have this heart issue, 50% lung capacity, trying to deal with the Beta Blocker and blood thinner which exhaust me, Blood Pressure ACE drug which supposedly promotes severe to fatal Corona Virus disease. So I know I'm not in a safe mode.

At 70, I am my grown son's caregiver, he has seizures and bad OCD, and he has cognitive problems. My wife recently passed away in 12 hrs due to the flesh eating disease out of the blue. Quite an adjustment to make.

We all have various health issues to deal with and now this Virus is keeping us all on pins and needles. That is why the wisdom you posted should only come to us as a helpful set of rules to live by. We all have so much on our plates it make one wonder where we are going from here.

Sorry for running off at the mouth !
