Hello,

Does having AFib mean "heart problem" when thinking of coronavirus covid-19?

A recent heart echo showed a healthy heart.

AF does not increase risk of getting Covid19. If there are no other co morbidities it may not make it any worse either but most people do have additional health problem. The real answer is nobody knows.

A pilot mate of mine went out to bring a plane load of stranded Brits back from Tenerife and all the crew caught it. He said for him the worst part was the muscle pain which kept him in bed for a day and a half but seven days down the line he chatted for nearly a hour today. He is still locked down as his partner is a few days behind him. Doesn't have to be fatal in other words.

Hi BobD. Do you have any views or suggestions regarding Ace Inhibitors and Covid19? Is there a point when the 'pril' drugs should not be taken? Thanks. TerryW

My shortness of breath with my AF would likely make the virus more difficult for me.
