Hi everyone
I saw my cardiologist a couple a days ago for my 6 monthly check up including and ECG. " Oh" says he ( behind his anti virus mask - at the best of times he is nigh on impossible to understand rabbiting in very fast quiet french like he is on helium - but the mask squashing his nose and mouth did not help) "Oh, you have un petit arythmie of zee sinus node". " Uh oh" says I. "It is not serious non, non it is nothing, but you will have to have an echocardiogram to check the size of the atrium ( all in high speed french)." It is probably provoked by your PAfib" Hmm thinks I 🤔I have had PAfib since 2012 and this is the first time this has been noted on an ECG. He thinks it can be sorted by an ablation.
Now my question is: who can give me some info on this? Am I heading for SSS and a pace maker? Or has anyone had this and been "sorted" by an ablation? Answers on a postcard or better still on this forum.
Love to all from "La lockdown land" ( France)
