LBC radio just interviewed the transport minister today who says a) they can’t police over 70’s being out of their house b) going out for a walk especially to walk the dog is not going to be stopped - to which the presenter asked - ‘Does that mean to go for a walk every 70 year old will need a dog to go out for a walk?’
Please can we start a dog share programme? 😄
The other titbit - whilst in Europe we are stockpiling Loo roll, rice and pasta - in US they are stockpiling guns 😰

Well CD, I am stockpiling crates of Leopards Leap, a rather tasty drop of red wine. 😂😂
As I commented elsewhere, what other stuff can the Over 70s do whilst in Lockdown...
I think walking, dog or otherwise, by yourself... gardening... working in a quiet plot on the allotment... sitting by a river fishing...going out bird watching on your own and ignoring everyone.,.. are common sense social distancing activities which will be OK to do without being "locked down."
But you probably shouldn't go to bingo, the post office, the library, Waitrose or garden centres.
(This list of suggested activities is very much tongue in cheek)
