Thank you to those who replied to my post about Mirtazipine for anxiety. I took the first full 15mg dose about an hour before going to bed last night and........didn't get a wink of sleep until after 3.30am due to restless legs syndrome. Having looked at the possible side effects in more detail sure enough that's one of them. Oh well, I guess I'll have to try another approach.

They gave me restless legs in a week. Changed to Sertraline. They have been ok. Hope you find one that suits you.
I am looking for a sleep solution also, good luck.
I’ve read many articles in which people write that doctors shouldn’t be so quick to hand out prescriptions for powerful psycho-active drugs such as mirtazapine and SSRIs. My experience with them puts me firmly on their side.
