I was given antibiotics for a bladder infection and I have been in Afib for 24 hours. Has anyone experienced this?

Can antibiotics cause Afib
Any inflamation in the body will often bring on AF. Hopefully as the antibiotics take effect the AF will deminish.
I had had a recent ablation last March and developed a really bad case of pneumonia, seven weeks later. I was given a 10 day course of antibiotics and an inhaler to be used 3x a day for a week. No Afib whatsoever here. From start to finish, about three weeks, I had a really terrible cough and that did not activate any Afib either.
I have been taken into hospital three times over the last 4 years and each time I had a water infection although I didn’t realise I had one and the dr said the water infection probably was the reason I went into afib
Which antibiotics were you given as Cipro and Fluoroquinolones can give serious side effects and are no longer supposed to be prescribed for bladder and UTI infections.
I have had one brand of ABs no AF consequences, maybe it was just the extra stress of this issue & the associated consequences that tipped you over into AF.
It’s the infection which will cause the inflammation & AF as a consequence. Does for me every time & I haven’t had antibiotics for 2 years.
