No - that’s a cardioversion.
Ablation is a procedure performed in a Cath Lab where a catheter is inserted into a vein, threaded through into the atria of the heart where various cells of the lining of the heart are burned by freezing or burning so that scar tissue forms - which blocks the rogue electrical signals.

Maybe because you have a pacemaker? But that doesn't mean you can't have an ablation - info from my cardiologist.
If you want one after reading info you need to complain about your QOL more and ask to see an EP (Arrhythmia specialist).
I had an icd fitted in September for nsvt no cardiomyopathy no syncope healthy heart but still get pvc on a daily basis which are scary because I sometimes go light headed with them. my meds have been upped to 15mg a day of Bisoprolol my cardiologist said if the plc don’t stop I could have an ablation which for vt with a healthy heart as got above a 75 % success rate.
