Side effects of meds

Hi does anyone with a fib and copd get achey pain in arms prior to taking their meds I'm on Apixiban and Bisoprolol for about 4/5 weeks now and having trouble sleeping and panic with weird dreams does this pass as you get used to meds I am also on Amlodipine and Atorvastatin which I was on before a fib meds

No probs there. Dud take a few months to get used to bisoprolol but that’s normal.

I have Afib and COPD but don't take the same meds as you.....I take Rivaroxabon and Atenolol......I couldn't take Bisoprolol it made me feel so ill....I have no aches or anything when taking my meds.

Has gp med review blood test showed raised liver enzymes got to have repeat blood test as said could be Apixiban causing it so may have to change but not sure what to would hope for one that doesn't cause this side effect seem to have developed all sorts of probs since on these meds yet copd cough etc doesn't seem as bad as usual for this time of year all a bit confusing

Weird dreams have been mentioned on here as a side-effect of Bisoprolol. You could discuss with your GP if you can lower the amount you take, or change to a different beta blocker.

I have no experience of the other problems you mention.

It’s the statin it got so bad for me the dr took me of statins as I tried several so maybe you should ask your dr to give you a different statin simvastatin is the worse for causing pain so I wouldn’t take that if I was you co enzyme q10 is a supplement that a lot of people take when there on statins that may help to unfortunately for me I just have to carry on without any statins my other medication for afib seems not to give me any side effects hope this helps you
