Damn Chest infection, again!

Had this bloody flu thing off an on for two weeks and now a bad chest infection. Last time I got this ended in flutter and cardioversion in lanzarote .

Just called 111 got urgent care referal hoping it's not the start of 2020 to come.

While abroad they gave me antibiotics /steroid injections and it seemed to shift it real fast and make me better a lot quicker than the UKs ritual antibiotics, what's people's opinions on steroid help with chest infection? I'd rather insist if it's going to help when I go in the next hour than it linger on and cause more problems.

I was hospitalised with pneumonia a couple of years ago (here in the UK) and had antibiotics and steroids - worked fast for me too.
