Stress test

I just got my stress test recently.they told me not to eat anything 2 hours before but unfortunately i have waited for 6 hours to do the actual stress test and i wast very hungry that time and came out with bad results, with my HR shoot to 200 bpm.does any one experienced like this bafore?is it good to do the stress test when you are hungry?any advice would help.

I seem to remember being told to avoid any food that contained caffeine for 24 hours and then to avoid all food for a couple of hours prior to the stress MRI.

It was explained that caffeine could stop the stress injection from working so ruin that aspect of the test.
