Diltiazem and Insomnia

Anyone here taking Diltiazem and having insomnia as a result?

I don't take diltiazem but am considering. Trouble sleeping is listed as a possible side effect.

If it is a major issue, may want to consult with your doctor about reducing dosage.

"Trouble sleeping" per Mav7's link, listed as a "less common" side effect, as part of the usual laundry list. Other sites don't mention it at all. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a problem. I've never had problem sleeping with Diltiazem but then again, I can usually sleep through anything.

I've been on Diltiazem for some time and can't say I've noticed it disturbing my sleep........ that usually is down to Snoretiazem in bed next to me 😁.

I’ve been on Diltiazem for more than a year now, no problems with sleep though

I've never had trouble sleeping.

I'm lying down in bed, cosy, room with ventilation, room temp not too hot/cold.

If I have slept in the day usually 6-7pm, I read or watch TV or get in computer and watch an episode of a chosen series on TV ON DEMAND.

But my AF is slow during the night down to 48bpm.

Are you stressed? Try Dopress 25mg and that will stop you awaking at 2am.
