Hi I had an ablation 2 weeks ago. My heart rate is good. But my lower belly where the wires passed through has been aching for a week. Went to emergency and they have no answers all was fine CT negative. It feels like menstrual cramps but that is impossible I have no uterus.
Nobody can tell me anything that helps and I am very frustrated Anybody had anything like this?

This confuses me as ablation goes nowhere near your belly as you put it. The catheter goes into a vein in your groin so should not cause any abdominal pain at all. OK there may be some discomfort in the groin area along with some bruises but that should be all.
I’m three weeks out and have strange abdominal discomfort but mine is upper right. Cardiologist and GP don’t know what to make of it. Ultrasound ok. I’m wondering if all the drugs and the recovery time (lack of movement) don’t play havoc on our digestive systems????
I think that’s part of it, for sure. But you think doctors would have a sense of what can happen as after effects. Gotta get a handle on this. It is a hindrance to my healing.
