Hi,

14 weeks post ablation, no medication but ongoing fluctuating blurred vision plus frequent palpitations. Has anyone experienced the vision issues ?

Hi... yes I did after the ablation. It's called a Aura migraine I think. Very strange feeling but common. Palpitations arè very common also...Ive just posted about it!! xxx

Thanks, I did wonder about migraine aura but thought unlikely as the vision changes are on and off all day.

We describe migraine aura as a common side effect of ablation in our fact sheet on recovery so just maybe you are miss-describing what you are experiencing? Ditto palpitations which can continue for three to six months as the heart produces the scar tissue necessary to block the rogue impulses. Still early days yet.

If, however, your vision problems are not this and actually focussing problems I would consult an opthalmic specialist, maybe see your optician?
