Recovery time for SVT ablation

Hi everyone,

Scheduled for an ablation in about a month and wondering what recovery will be like. How I’ll feel. How long it will take etc. will I be able to take care of my small children within a week?

I’ve found info about recovery after ablation for AF but is it different for SVT?

Thanks!

No, should be the same as it is the same procedure, just dealing with different areas inside th heart. I had ablation for atrial tachyardia recently and recovery is exactly as we discuss in the fact sheet.
