2nd Ablation

Hi had my second Ablation done on Friday at St George’s Tooting. Apparently I went back into sinus rhythm then back out again, Cardioverted me but still in AF, now they have put me on Amorodrane for 3 months. Felt really despondent yesterday as I thought they would have fixed it for me. Has this happened to anyone else. Feeling down in the dumps today, perhaps some you kind people can cheer me up.

Hi i had my first ablation almost 3 weeks ago and i know they said give it time to heal etc, but i feel that it hasn't worked still getting flutters in the heart which really disheartens me as you've gone through all that for it not to have worked, but in your case you have had a 2nd one, may i asked when you had your first ablation?

I had my first one in 2015 and that lasted about 2years. But Dr Saba told me I would most probably need a touch up so hoping this time it will eventually work.

Hi x I had my second 2 weeks ago and I'm in and out of it. I'm trying to be positive. I've done soooo much research and this is normal as the heart heals in the few months afterwards. I know it's deflating ... I was in it all day yesterday...but I've started to self convert which is a great thing...ive always needed cardioversions in the past...13 of them. Its a slow process but from all advice given and research this is common and can take up to 6 months. Xoxox

I am like you always reading up on AF and after a while you feel it is taking over your life. Anyway good luck with recovery.
