Well, today it’s a year since I had my second ablation at St George’s Hospital and generally all is well. As far as I know, I had no AF until just after the 3 month period and a couple more since. In each case, I reverted quickly using Flecainide as a PiP and the episodes were much less severe than before the ablation. From around April, I started to get some short, rapid but regular runs and they became more frequent. Blood tests indicated an overactive thyroid and that’s currently under investigation because of the link between Thyroid and AF. I also know that stress has an impact so hopefully things will settle but at the moment, all is good.....

Wow, a year. Interesting about the thyroid. I have borderline underactive thyroid. They want to treat it in Cyprus but not in UK! Hope to see you on Saturday.
