But thankfully woke up to find they'd gone. Resting HR still 10 beats higher than it has been lately. But thankfully pulse feels regular again. Did the breathing technique everyone recommends!.

Last night BP was 140/110 and pulse up to 150 N irratic

So relieved seems ok today, after my first cardioversion that lasted approx 4hrs, then AF persistent ever since till my ablation 10th July.

This sound similar to others ?

Its normal to have a few minor attacks of AF after an ablation. About 4 weeks after my last one, which was a few years ago, I needed a cardioversion to bring my heart back into it's normal rhythm. So don't start worrying until you're well past the 3 month healing phase.

AF is a horrible condition isn't it and the mental health aspects that affect us are rarely talked about are they!

Thx very much Jean J, very reassuring. Think it lasted about 2 hours, so could be lots worse, self medicated with PIP Bisoprolol 5mg, otherwise the docs have taken me off that now. Feels steadier today.

I totally agree with Jean. The mind games are often much worse than the AF.

Still very early days so try not to worry. Raised heart rate post abalation is very common.
