Cardioversion

I had a successful cardioversion recently (it took four attempts). For a week or so afterwards my ankles swelled up like puddings. I wonder if anyone has experienced this?

I've never heard of ankles swelling after a cardioversion, but when you think of the jolt to the body that they give I wouldn't be surprised re anything they could trigger. Are you sure it was caused by the cardioversion and not the sitting around, in this hot weather, that you may have done afterwards?

Thanks jean. I don’t think k it’s the hot weather as I was ok before. I’m ok now do not too worried.

Never heard of that but some drugs will cause it. What are you on?
