Another update from quitting Atenolol

Hi all - damn it’s hot!!! Probably not the best time for quitting a bb and trying to put less strain on the heart. Went to my sons primary school leaving ceremony yesterday in our local church in Blakeney Norfolk before taking all the kids for a splash in the sea at Blakeney Quay it was then I noticed my HR had risen to 114 resting although I felt fine albeit a little tired. Managed to speak with my cardiologist as I had a phone call planned anyway yesterday evening to follow up from my ablation and he wants me to have an ECG today at my GP’s just to make sure that I’m not in AF. HR since stopping the Atenolol completely has been for the last few days all over the place ranging from 70 to 120bpm although I’m fairly certain NSR and not AF . I hope.....

Sounds like a plan.

I love Blakeney, spent many happy times in North Norfolk. You lucky b***er

Try to stay cool, and drink lots of water!

You sound like you know your pulse and when you are in NSR/AF, I don't think the heat will be helping

All the best
