Any anti coagulant will exacerbate bruising. I am on apixaban and if I hit my arms on anything, it looks like I've gone a few rounds in the ring with the champ. That said, if you are getting bruising without any reason, you may want to talk to your EP or cardiologist
Hi. Yes, I get lots of bruising- mainly on my hands. I was told to expect to bruise easily on this drug.
I found Apixaban/Eliquis better for bruising than Rivaroxaban. I still et bruises on my legs from slight bumps though.
Good morning on riveroxaban 2years now no excessive bruising so far.
3+ years on Rivaroxaban and no bruising. Cuts take a while to heal and disappear though. I am a male, 68 years old.
