Good news Jamse, means a lot that you can be returned to sinus rhythm.....

Lovely isn’t it? Long may it continue ❤️

Aren't cardioversions the most amazing things when they return you to sinus rhythm! I'm pleased to hear that yours was successful.

I've had a few now and they've all worked, last one was in January this year and I'm still doing well. My team are fantastic too, the mood they create is a happy and carefree one. When I wake after the anaesthetic has worn off, I could honestly kiss their feet with gratitude for making me well again.

I recommend that you try not to do anything strenuous that raises your heart rate, for a week or so. No walking up steep hills for a while. I once did that the day after a cardioversion and immediately went back into AF. It was a hard lesson to learn.

Hoping you stay well now.

Totally agree with Jean, waking up after a cardioversion in NSR is one of the most amazing feelings for a sufferer of PAF.
