Leg totally numb after ablation

As I lie here 10 hours after my second ablation , which went well, I have no feeling in my right leg below where the surgeon went in through the groin. After the usual 4 hours lying flat and feeling ok I was allowed to attempt a visit to the bathroom . Right foot out of bed landed me in a heap on the floor . I have no feeling in my right leg at all. Very concerned . No doc available at the moment so no sleep tonight ! Feels like a dead leg, before the pins and needles . But not getting any better . Could a nerve have been nicked ? Thoughts anyone please

I guess there could be some swelling pressing against a nerve. I hope you have seen a doctor by now. Please let us know how you are this morning.

Big healing hug, we are here for you.

I hope you have an answer now. My femoral nerve was damaged during my first ablation 7 years ago. But that resulted in no feeling at back of leg, not while of leg. Am told that nerves may regenerate but not so far.

I had femoral nerve damage after my 3rd ablation couldn’t move my leg, terrible pain, had to go to A & E they just gave pain killers. It did completely heal in two weeks. Hope you get sorted soon.
