I have SVT too which has now ‘turned’ into AF. I know exactly how you feel. I assumed you are not on any medication to control the condition. If it is bothering you and making you feel uncomfortable if possible try and bring forward your appointment. Try and explain to the clinic of what you are experiencing they might be able to make adjustment. All the best and hope your condition improves. Take care.

Unfortunately palpitations is not a good enough defintition. In medical terms it merely means that a person is aware of their heart.

Do you know what is happeing. for example if you feel your heart is it racing or is it irregular. You obviously know what SVT feels like so is it the same? Do you know how to take your pulse and is that a steady fast beat or a chaotic non rhythm which could be AF?

All these things would help to define what is going on but seriously if you are worried you need to go and see your GP and try and get an ECG done so this thing can get a proper name and treatment.

I take flecinide and bisoprolol it worked great but these palpitations are different just every minute I went to my drs he couldn't give e me any thing to help as my heart rate is 48 when resting so referred my back to my cardiologist

Yes but you need to find out what they are! Can he not do ECG or are so so infrequent thatthey are never there when at doctors?

Agree with other comments. You need to go sooner to get it checked. I had Svt for 18 years and it is not nice. If it gets really bad send for an ambulance and at least the paramedics will get it on their machine and give you a print out so you can show the cardiologist. You will find if it is bad that they will take you into hospital and they can decide the best way forward. Good luck x
