Update on Help!

Thank you to those who have been so supportive to me over the last few days with my palpitations/ AF fears and anxieties.

I thought I would do an update on where I now am. After a horrible Sunday when I was suffering with terrible palpitations and anxiety, not knowing whether my AF had returned after four AF free years or not, I finally had an ECG which showed up only a few ectopic beats. Not a lot of help really, but at least I was reassured by the Dr. that there was nothing mega serious going on. On Monday I saw my G.P. who raised my beta blocker dose, which has helped. I am now getting occasional palpitations that I can cope with for now! She has also referred me to a cardiologist for a review, so maybe he will be able to throw some light on what’s been going on.

Great news Tess - sounds like you be fine. Still a few problems but the cardio should be able to sort things out even more
