So, I went back into a-fib about 2.5 weeks after my ablation. Was scheduled to have a cardioversion this morning (10 days after going into a-fib.) Woke up, checked my HRV and found that it had dropped from around 175 ms yesterday to 37 ms this morning. Checked the ECG on the Apple watch - sinus rhythm! I must have spontaneously cardioverted overnight. Still went to the hospital for the cardioversion. They hooked me up to the ECG and yep - I somehow after almost 10 days I naturally reverted. Hoping it sticks. Bumping up the flecainide dose, lower stress, better diet and easier exercise routine seem to have done the trick.

Perfect advice.
As a matter of interest what was your Flec dose increased from / to ?
Best,

Nonetheless good news Norman, it’s not surprising though because it can take a while for the treated tissue to heal and form the barrier to stop the rogue pulses getting through. Very likely you may get some more AF but hopefully it will reduce to zippo after 3 months or SO!!!!
Great news, continue to take it easy......
There's a TV show about ER emergencies, and they had a lady in horrible AFib on there recently. They just stuck her hands in two big vats of ice water, and that stopped the afib. Worth a try guys!
This happened to me twice! One time converted as I was laying on the bed waiting to be cardioverted.
This has happened to me a couple of times.
I was watching the team push the DCCV trolley towards my bed and went in to NSR
