No that doesnt sound normal unless your nose is stuffy and you can only breath thru your mouth. You probably need to call your doc and discuss.

Yes it's normal for me. I sometimes get very hot as well. It's as if my heart can only deal with the digesting and my temperature control goes haywire and my heart rate goes up. I have learned not to panic and to use a small table top fan if needs be.

Yes. Forgot to say I also find it fatiguing to talk and eat and definitely cant walk and eat! I'm not even in AF at the moment.

I occasionally experience this also and, like you, I do not eat fast and I always sit when I eat. I don’t know why it happens and I have to stop until it passes. I take sips of cold water which seems to help. It doesn’t occur every time.

The medication I am currently on is for high blood pressure, nothing for AF. I am taking Losartan and Felodipine. I have always thought that the symptoms I experience when eating are attributable to a transient episode of AF occurring at that time – but because it doesn’t happen with every meal I have never established a reason why.

I only have what you describe when I am in full flutter or AF, its exhausting!
