Breathing

Been awake most of the night gasping for air, as time passes I find I'm getting worse as far as breathing is concerned, I really struggle to climb a single flight of stairs, some days are better than others, I don't have to be doing anything, just watching TV and I suddenly run out of air, is this normal?

No, you should call 111.

I agree with Buffafly. This has been going on far too long and you now need urgent medical assessment in my opinion.

Are you ok now? You should go to hospital as this can be serious but can be treated.

Back to random breathlessness now, still waiting for a date for cardiovascular or ablation, they're going to try cardioversion if that date comes up first, if not it'll be straight to ablation.

Hi, did they figure out what it is? why did they say you need cardioversion/ ablation?

I get random nights where I wake up gasping for air, feeling like I stopped breathing to wake up to chocking for air. And I just found out last week from my heart monitor results that I have svt & vtach, so I have a Ablation consult this Friday.
