I posted “peace at last” on being in persistent AF well controlled, how soon our fortunes change. On Wednesday I was able to enjoy a brisk walk around 4 football pitches as usual, the next day I was so dyspneaic I can hardly move from room to room, it’s really scary. I am on Bisoprolol 3.75 mg and Flecainide 50mg bd, which I shall be stopping soon being in persistent AF. I’ve never had angina type pains, but had 3 chest infections last year requiring antibiotics. This level of dyspnea is new to me and extreme. I am breathless just sitting in a chair.,,, any experiences to share anyone..? Dee

Such a profound change over 24 hours means you need medical assessment urgently in my opinion. My suggestion would be to ring NHS111. Good luck.

Sat of 84 I'd well below functuonal.. anything below 90 would severely impact you. Why, CHF, chronic or acute lung disease, caused by COPD, fibrosis, active infection, tumour, PE,etc. This needs to be addressed and explained and treated. Need a new doc.
