Just want to share this tip

I have had AF for many years. However, I have found that healthy eating helps a lot. Still like my cake though!! Anyway for the last few months I have been eating a large amount of red and black grapes. Well I had no idea what an amazing little Superfood they are. They have so many nutrients and health benefits, too many to list, but it's worth googling to read them. Excellent for heart health and blood pressure and so many other things. Of course you can always get the crushed version called Red Wine but unfortunately alcohol sets off my AF!!!

Agree with you Janette, I've been eating the black ones too . I read that they were the best to have for good heart health. I always snack on fruit or nuts, but have to admit I think I eat too much of both. Never eat cake or biscuits now, cake would always make me aware of my heart beat and I hated that feeling. I'm almost four and a half months AF free and the only heart drug I take now is Warfarin.

Thats really interesting as I've been eating more grapes the last couple of months and fewer ectopics butalso taking small dose of magnesium. Do dried fruits have same effect as I snack on sultanas and nuts far too much!

I know that nuts are really good too especially Almonds and Brazils Not sure about sultanas but raisins are good but not too many as high sugar.

Have you tried Sable grapes? They are like nectar!

Not heard of them. Where do you get them?

I think I got mine from Aldi. If you google them you will see all the comments.

I love grapes, sometimes I will freeze the red sweeter ones and eat them frozen. In the hot summer it is a nice change.

I was just going to post that I freeze the sable grapes (very black and sweet) and I have them as a treat with a handful of nuts! I love frozen grapes so much I rarely eat them any other way 😊😋

It never occurred to me to freeze them - must try that!
