Pauses after ablation

I had a cryoablation on March 21st with no afib episodes after the procedure. It has now been almost 8 weeks and I am beginning to experience 2 to 3 second pauses with no other afib sypmtoms. I assume the pauses are 2 to 3 seconds I get really light headed and can't seem to catch my breath. Is this normal? Has anyone else had these experiences? Am I over reacting? Prior to my ablation, I was experiencing 8 second pauses, sometimes 2 or 3 times before returning to normal sinus rhythm and I did not find this sensation fun. I certainly don't want to do it again! I have contacted my cardiologist, but am beginning to feel that I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill reporting these incidences and am just wondering what others have experienced.

I had pauses up to 5 secs before my ablation so I was told I had to have an ablation and stop meds or have a pacemaker. I chose to try the ablation which worked for two years before the AF started sneaking back. A 7 day monitor revealed frequent episodes of AF which I hadn't felt but no significant pauses. I take the lowest dose of Diltiazem but I do have short spells of feeling light-headed occasionally, not sure if it was a pause or very slow HB but too late when I felt my pulse. I seem to remember that someone else here who had frequent pauses was told anything up to 5 secs is nothing to worry about 🙄 but it is very very unpleasant!

Are you still on any meds? If you are maybe when you can cut down you'll feel better, I hope. I don't think it is serious but you can't help worrying I know. I just realised you only had your ablation about 8 weeks ago so it is very early days really. Keep resting as much as possible. Best wishes 💜

following my cryoablation i had 1 aor 2 brief episodes of afib and then none for 2 years. they ahve returned weekly and so am no on medication...flecinide...and it works perfectly but i am thinking of having another ablation because i really dont' want to be on medication.

i have always had pauses since the ablation, maybe even before the ablation...they are very brief...seems my heart just skips one or two beats...i dont' worry about it.
