Fell Over At Work!

OMG I got up from lunch today in our totally open plan office.... tripped over a chair leg and went crashing to the floor!! Prawn cocktail sauce flying, my sandals came off, my pride flew out the door..... lol 😂. My colleague helped me up.... bruised knee and ironically my Medic Alert bracelet heart was embedded into the palm of my hand!! Blood everywhere!

Embarrassment City of course....

However..... still in NSR 😊😊👍❤️

Thought it might make a few people laugh!

Oh bless you, how embarrassing, but I'm glad to hear you stayed in NSR.

You may find you have a few more bruises as the day goes on.

Hope you don't develop any aches or pains from it.

It gives you quite a jolt, whether you are hurt or not. I did smile at my memory of tripping and falling flat in the street years ago. My colleague who was a joker said he could bet that the first thing I did was look round to see if anyone noticed. He was right. 😄

Hope you are OK!!

Oh dear. Glad you’re okay and can laugh about it. Sounds like it could have been a winner on a “Funniest Home Video” show if anyone had filmed it. 😃

Haha! Yes it would have been great to see!!

Bruises on knee, hand, toes and arms this morning!!

Thanks all ❤️

Oh no, sorry to hear that, pleased you maintained nsr though, that's a bonus during an embarrassing event. Hope you are back in one piece. X

Ouch! You could take some Arnica tablets and rub some Arnica cream in the bruises. I find that helps. Take it easy you might be sore and shaken

I'm not laughing but I am smiling as falls can be very funny (providing no one is hurt). Opposite our house a man was on a very high ladder cutting a 3 metre hedge, and the ladder suddenly slid away, rippling down the hedge until it was completely on the ground, and of course the poor chap with it. The first thing he did when he got up was look around sheepishly, and then he started howling with laughter - so did we!

Do hope you are recovering, your bruises may swell a bit too, be prepared for that.

Oh no Bet you were very embarrassed. Hope you have no after effects from the fall. Don’t know why we find falls funny but most people do!!

:-) know how you feel. I tripped over a tiny ridge in the pavement. No rela damage done but scaped hand and mortifying feeling of embarrassment
