Hi All, Can I fill my car while wearing oxygen

I wouldn't and are you actually allowed to drive whilst wearing an oxygen mask? If you are in UK you would need to check with DVLA I think. The potential for explosion with oxygen and any volatile compound such as petrol is very high and it could only need a static spark to cause a nasty accident.

One of my lads blew the hair off his arms on Sunday when he lit the incinerator into which he had just thrown some rag he had used to mop up some brake cleaner (alcohol based. ) The bang shook the workshop and brought my wife across to see what had happened.

Better safe than sorry.

I don't think so. I know I was stopped because my mobile phone rang when I was filling the car with petrol and one of the staff heard it. So if a mobile phone has to be switched off I would certainly think an oxygen mask would be a no-no. However, I'm not sure so maybe DVLA could advise you, although I'm not sure if you should even drive with an oxygen mask. I do hope you are sorted out OK.
