No responses needed: I just feel compelled to tell all you lovely people in this group how wonderful and important you( we) are! I think we all agree how great this forum is. The members always come thru and offer experience, knowledge, empathy and the right twist of humor( BobD) that is so reassuring to me and all the others seeking understanding, reassurance and support. This group is priceless and I just need to thank you all. 💜

I have said this before and I really mean it this forum has kept me sane and when ever I go to see a consultant or a GP any health professional who will listen I always tell them about this site. I wish everyone knew about it I find it very difficult to think about people struggling to come to terms with this on their own I was so anxious and scared before I found this forum it was a very difficult time for me and my family. So well done everyone and thank you.

I’ve loved being part of this forum and being able to gain insights from everyone else’s experience. I may be a long way away from most of you but in the last few weeks I have met up with 2 forum members who have been a n Australia in holidays which has been wonderful.

I have to agree - this forum is amazing for a-fibbers. Everyone seems very supportive and helpful. It`s nice to find somewhere to be able to talk about your feelings without being judged.

Great forum - keep up the good work ;-)

Best,

Paul

Thanks for that message.

As a healthcare worker, I can see how important it is that patient’s support each other. It is very obvious that this is exactly what this forum provides.

Well done all of you! 💚

I’m glad you have joined this forum also Fitfab! It’s a learning experience for you and you are a great resource for us. Back in the 1980’s I worked in oncology as an RN and led a once a month support group for the patients. Actually they led themselves and I mostly listened and turned off the lights when it was over, lol. I learned so much, mostly that people just need to be heard and validated. The old saying people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care is so true.

Yes this forum is excellent we are all in the same boat

Yes true it really helps on here al in the same boat learning new thing all the time

What a wonderful post, Hoski! Thank you for writing it. When I think about the progress I’ve been able to make in the past 7 months, highs and lows and all of it, I really do have to credit this forum with giving me the inspiration, support, & information that’s been so helpful. It makes a big difference to have a place to talk about this stuff with people who understand & are kind. Thank you, everyone!🙏🏻

Great post Hoski. AF does not discriminate on nationality, so it's great to have people on here, from all over the world, supporting each other.😀

I love it that this is an international group. Ive never been outside of the US so it always fascinated me how people are so different re lifestyles but our wants and needs are all the same.

I do soagree. After having been diagnosed (this was also after almost 3 weeks in the coron\ry unit at my 'local' hospital) I was cast back to my GP who although very good doesn't really give much advice on AF, despite my questions. I have gained so much from this site and like you, am grateful to it's members.

Lovely sentiments, Hoski. The forum shows that knowledge is power! I would be an ignoramus without the wisdom recorded here.
