Has your doctor referred you to the cardiologist because she suspects you have a heart rhythm disturbance like atrial fibrillation? Are your thyroid function tests normal?

Hi

It is scary feeling unwell and anxious but remind yourself there are things you can control that can help.

can you investigate strategies to control your anxiety, breathing exercises and simple meditation will help your anxiety and also your physical condition for eg your high BP.

If your BP is now low because of a new medication that could account for dizziness. When our BP drops the heart beats harder to compensate. Presumably you check your BP at home. Do some readings at home and if it is low ring your GP on Monday to get some advice.

Other thing to look at is your diet. A good diet will help your type 2 diabetes and your BP. There is evidence that some people can reverse their type 2 diabetes by changing their diet. Your GP or practice nurse can help you.

Re seeing the cardiologist if it a long wait it is worth ringing the appointments people to say you can take a short notice cancellation - (assuming you can of course).

take care
