Rivaroxaban

I dont normally take blood thinners for afib because I am otherwise generally healthy and a low stroke risk. I was told to take Rivaroxaban 20mg for 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after my cardioversion. My GP said I can just come straight off the Rivaroxaban after this time and it will be out of my system in 24 hours. Has anybody else had experience of stopping Rivaroxaban suddenly after a similar period of time.

Thanks , I would appreciate any experience .

Since it is clear of your system within 24-48 hours max stopping is fine.
