Well,at the risk of tempting fate,I seem to be heading away from my AF and Afl progressing. I had an echocardiagram last week and saw my cardiologist on Monday(I am also under an EP at another hospital who I am down to see 31st May to discuss how I am ) Cardiologist said my heart is structurally good with ejection fraction of 62.5,no narrowing of arteries, did an ecg to prove my Kardia reading of that morning was correct, both normal.

So to carry on not taking flecanide and bisoprolol as daily doses and use as PIP if required, which I have done sometimes.

I can only put it down to the removal of huge stresses, retiring from a job which was also stressful and demanding, and radically changing my lifestyle.I eat 10 to 15 portions of fruit and veg a day, good quality low fat protein and nuts and seeds, exercise more but not in intensive bursts like before.

I do still have some episodes but controlled quickly with the PIPs.

Lets hope this continues!

I am doing ok. Walking in the home a lot better. Just need help from the physiotherapist to learn again outside manoeuvres. Got cystoscope next Thursday fingers crossed for that one. Thought about getting a mobility scooter, and cause havoc in the street. Onwards and upwards as they say. You take care, it must be lovely to feel so much better. AF is horrible. 💕💕Rienij

Yes I was very happy....was upset to be diagnosed in 2013, having just lost my mum to an AF stroke 3 months before. A period of high stress at home and work followed until the last 6 months...and now I feel I have come through the storm so to speak....hope it continues to be in remission...! Have a nice weekend X

Most likely. Not missed one yet in twelve years or whatever it is. Haven't yet decided whether to abandon the Pink Carnation Supper on Saturday now the start on Sunday is so late. See what public opinion is I guess but it costs me so much each year it is hard to justify if I can do the round trip in a day. Mind you seven hours travel for five hours there is not very good maths,.

Nothing beats a positive post!! My 6 month review on Monday and apart from a "blip" last month, all seems well so I'm hoping for some good news too....best wishes......
