I would like to share my symptoms with you. I have a vagal, possibly mixed, paroxysmal afib. I had a cryoablation late in 2016 in US. It was not successful because my afib returned. Right now, I have 2-3 afib events in one week. I had a zio patch for monitoring my afib for two weeks and I use also Kardia. Every time when my afib event starts and it is unpredictable and mostly outside of the home. I get a strange strong weakness in my left foot/ leg and sometimes in left arm. It is so noticeable. Then I start burping without interruption and afib arrives. The weakness in the leg scares me because I assume I am getting a stroke. I also noticed that lots of my ECGs on Kardia were designated as unclassified. I talked to Kardia and they said they can't diagnose that chaos and I should take it to cardiologist. That I will do.

How are you feeling now? If you haven't already I think you need to tell someone medical about the weakness you keep experiencing in your leg and arm.
Thank you for asking. I had cardioversion today late in the afternoon. It was my first cardioversion. It was quick and totally painless with anesthesia. But I still feel the strange numbness in my left foot. I will have a meeting with my EP in two days. It is amazing that I can get things done so quickly. He is an excellent " ablationist" as I heard from other patients, but his interest is just pure electrophysiology. I am thinking about a second ablation with him. Do patients return to the same EP for the second ablation? I am not returning to my previous EP who did my first ablation. I just would like to have a new approach. Tha last one was really unsuccessful.
I'm glad to hear you were successfully cardioverted. I've had several and have grown to look forward to having them for the instant relief they bring. All three of my ablations were carried out by the same EP. After the third one I felt instantly better and it certainly stopped my severe AF attacks.
I hope you stay well now.
