Found flecanide on floor.

Hi everyone, just been doing my pill box. Put my three tabs out for this morning. Then half an hour later found a flecanide on the floor. Now I don’t know if that is one that fell out of big box or one that I was supposed to take this morning. Will everything be ok. I have to take another one tonight. I know it’s naughty but I tend to grab boxes and fill my pill box up rather than stick to same packet. I know I know.!!!! I have got an extra one to take if needed. I must say apart from the funny eyes now and then and not being able to lose weight I am fine on flecanide. I walk my three dogs everyday and do my jobs around the house and I am fine. That’s a pain as there really is no correct answer.

If you are stable on Flecainide and feel well, then I would be inclined to think the tablet fell out of the big box and assume you took the dose. I would probably also sneak this evening’s dose in a little early.

That’s what I thought. Thank you Finvola. When I did my tabs last week I even wrote on the box of my bisoprol how many was left but not the flecanide. Must get my act together. Xx

Gill again, flecanide must go into your system quick mustn’t it. Because it wouldn’t be a PIP and it does melt if it is on your tongue too long. Will just do what you said and stop thinking about it. Thanks again you have a good day. Xx

I agree totally with Finvola, but of course we're just saying what we would do.

I'm sure we've all done exactly the same as you at some time, I certainly have and it seems to happen more and more lately!

Id just hedge your bets and take evening one as usual. I did a similar thing..had a 50mg tablet to hand in case I set off before next dose. All was ok

You will be fine, you will still have residue in your system from your last flecainide I suspect so if you take it tonight all will be well. Pleased it's working well for you.

It takes a while for flecainide levels to drop in your bloodstream. I'd had a week's worth of doses that had probably been in too hot a handbag for too long, but it wasn't till after that week that problems arose. However everyone must tune into and get to know how their own bodies respond. After one boo-boo with not being sure if I'd had my dose, I got VERY serious about being consciously present about taking my medications. No distractions, just total focus and self care.... it works!

Good morning, well all is well. Most days I really concentrate when taking my tablets. But there is always that one time. We taken them so automatically. Xx

It can happen, I make up my weekly pill box at the weekend and sometimes a tablet drops out the packaging, however I am more concerned that my dog reaches it before me! Take care.

I know this might sound "crazy", but because I do what you just did all the time (I find pills and wonder, did I take it or not???) I take ALOT of meds...I TEXT myself for the important ones...I told my duaghter and sister to do them same because they will forget to take their metoprolol or think they did and take another one....Long story short, when I take a my heart med, I text myslef on my phone- Took heart me @ 7am...I do the same with m pain meds, "Took Pain med at 12 noon....and I don't hit the send button until I swallow the pill.....So, if there is ever any doubt, for me, which can happen alot, I look at my phone to see if I really took it or not..
