She was on Warfarin. Reportedly healthy. But had a lethal stroke from a blood clot (9 years ago). This was published just today. I am trying to understand it. I think this is poorly reported but was published today. And if you have seen this just know it’s missing key details in my opinion.

Anticoagulation is not 100% proff against stokes. Nothing is. Generally considered 70% . When its your time its your time.
Anticoagulents reduce the risk of stroke, but do not totally prevent them.
Each patient has different issues which may increase risks. So anticoagulants are only a part of the picture.
