I don't know if anyone else has experienced this following an ablation. I had a cryoablation in 2017 and a RF one in October last year. Over the last two months I have had four episodes of AF lasting about six hours each time. However what I am experiencing after my latest ablation is a big increase in my core body temperature. I am having to have the window open at night, regardless of how cold it is outside, I have a very lightweight duvet on my bed and still experience increased body temperature.
Has this happened to any of you?

I have my follow up appointment next Monday with the consultant so will definitely be asking him about it. It was just something I wondered if anyone else had experienced.
Whenever I have an overload of inflammation in my body I have a similar reaction. I also experience difficulty in maintaining my appropriate body temperature which is due to Autonomic Dysfunction so I am cold when ambient temperature is very warm and warm when the temperature is quite chilly.
