Hi there, even if you do get data on success / failure / risks, it's really difficult to apply that to you as an individual. There are so many influencing factors like age, weight, other health issues, heart history, family history ect ect you will be swinging in the dark looking at average figures. I had an ablation last September and I asked my EP based on MY age weight fitness ect ect what's the chance of complications, he said 1000 to 1 so the next week I had the procedure and it went well apart from a bit of groin swelling which faded the next day. Also consider the fact that if the medical professionals thought you were going to be at risk for any reason they have to tell you.. I know complications happen but looking at statistics is no where near as accurate as asking someone who knows you and your history. Best wishes, Dave.
