Christmas wishes

I wish you all a restful, peaceful and enjoyable Christmas.

Here’s hoping that we all find a better way in 2019 to cope with the reason we all are gathered here in AF cyberspace.

Happy Christmas to all.

With very best wishes. Here's to dry humour and sadly a dry Christmas too!!

It is nearly 3 years ‘dry’ for me now. It sounds like AA doesn’t it?

I still fancy a glass of real ale after a 3 mile cross country walk to an olde worlde thatched pub we know.

However if it is helping my significantly reduced episodes of AF then in my book it is worth it. I will probably never know unless I succumb and then get AF. Not a risk I plan to take in the foreseeable future.

I'll rephrase that then Pete. You Fellows are the Drug Addicts, in the nicest

possible sense of course. I'm addicted to pedallin', and y'day morning was

ideal, nice empty roads for a while. Managed a short ride of 30 miles and

then home for a nosh and my two visiting giant sized sons...and my wifey !

'twas a good day, hope yours was too.

I used to like pedallin’ but I now get breathless going up the stairs.

Yes had a good day yesterday we drove 75 miles to be with my wife’s 85 year old mum who would have otherwise been on her own all Christmas Day.

Now being a glutton for punishment we are today driving 95 to Aylesbury to visit the grave of our daughter who lived for just 15 hours 42 years ago today.

I will need to rest tomorrow.

Take care and remember to pace yourself and don’t push your pedellin’ too hard.

….that could be difficult cos I'm a racin' guy. Down the Hillingdon Circuit 3 or 4 times a week racin' with my mates. Hope the new valve doesn't come unstuck !!

That could be trouble !! You only live once... go for it aye !!?
