Happy Holidays!

Holiday greetings to you all come from California! Last year at this time, I had just had my 2nd ablation and so I was fresh out of the hospital. Right now, I'm in NSR and happy to have the energy to play around and create this goofy card, featuring the "real" Nella, who sends her love.

Many thanks to everyone for sharing your AF adventures, your kindness, wisdom and support, all of which have helped me immensely this year! 🎄🎄🎄

I hope your ablation goes well, MydogBrandy! I do still have episodes and am mulling a 3rd ablation, but overall feel much better. I know that the support of the kind people here has helped a lot with that, as well as the inspiration I've found here for the mental game of dealing with AF and doctors. 🎄😻

Thanks so much mine is an svt ablation don’t know if that’s a more successful one than af ablation, know I am scared , have opted to be put to sleep. Thanks for your good wishes and a merry Christmas and healthy 2019.

Please do your best to relax, MydogBrandy. Going into it feeing calm and with a positive attitude will ultimately help your body to heal. This is more powerful than you may realize. You'll be in good hands, with people who know what they're doing.

I actually enjoyed being in the hospital. I walked in, put on a gown and footies, and then they completely took care of me. Everyone at the hospital was kind and friendly, which I know is not always the case. It also helped that the anesthesiologist was quite handsome. Last I remember, he was talking to me and then it was over, and I woke up feeling great.

Thank you, Sandra! I had a blip of AF this morning, but fortunately, Flec did the trick and stopped it in an hour. Overall, happy to be feeling better in spite of the episodes. Nella sends Christmas greetings to you and her twin!

I’m in the Bay Area. The smoke from the fires, around 200 miles away, was stunning. Missed a few days of teaching at the college, with classes closed. Grateful for clean air!

Thank you for the lovely card. We were at a party last night at the home of a cat very much like yours who is 23 years old though she looks pretty young! I hope you don't mind that I sent your lovely card to another person at the party who has AF and has just been told she may need an ablation and that she might require more than one. I'm sure your experience will cheer her and many thanks for the post. Hope all goes well for you in the coming year.
