Hi - I've been making good progress & have been solely on Apixaban (thinners) for 6 weeks after my ablation for Paroxysmal AF on Aug 29th.
I have not been going silly, but have been getting back to my old activity levels with no issue.
Last night at 9pm I was sat quietly watching the television, when felt what I can only describe as mild AF, but didnt feel the usual ill effects, just aware of a funny feeling of beats in my stomach & felt my pulse & it was a bit erratic. I didn't take any meds & this lasted for about 2 hrs. I haven't felt the usual 'exhausted' feelings this morning & slept well.
Obviously a bit concerned - any advice welcomed - thanks

Hi Kevwray, suggest you read this AF Association webpage regarding recovery from an ablation and you will see that what you have experienced is not unusual.
Thanks Flapjack - I guess we all just want the operation & switch off the problem - the good news is that my quality of life is very much improved & hope these 'tweaks' will settle down as time passes
