Has anyone here had a bad BNP test? I mean adverse results. My gp was doing blood tests on other issues of mine and added this on, almost as an afterthought. The results came back much higher than the average. I wasn't worried, but now I am! My gp said 'nothing to worry about' as an angiogram (6 years ago) and an echo (3 years ago) were clear. I'm here as an affibber, but medication only and lately I've been in a good zone; ectopics notwithstanding.
Really hoping one of my mates here has had a similar experience. Thanks.

Thank you. I'm wondering if anxiety can be a factor to raise the levels, as my life is über stressed currently. I have to make another appointment in a couple of weeks, so I will aim to find out more. Cheers.
Yes,indeed stress and anxiety cause all sorts of body reactions, from personal experience I wouldnt be surprised if that was tied into your raised levels.Thinking of reducing your stress levels as far as you can must only help you ,Take care and let us know how you get on xx
