I was diagnosed in late June just prior to Bilateral knee replacement surgery..I have had only 6 episodes since then .I am on Xarelto 20 mg as well as Metoprolol Tartrate 50mg 2x a day and Flecainide 100mg 2 x per day. Has anyone had a weight gain issue with these drugs??? Trying lose weight is so frustrating !!!!

Any beta blocker (things ending lol) has the potential to allow weight gain as they slow you right down. Just keep your calories under control. Difficult I know!

I feel your pain. I haven’t had knee surgery but struggle with knee pain. Taking metoprolol also, it makes you tired, my heart doc just says to push thru it. Yeah right. It has taken me almost 3 yr to lose 40 lb. It has no been fast or easy but doable if you are patient. Good luck💜
