Is your flutter in the left or right atrium? As the flutter is coming back it sounds as if it is in the left atrium which is much more difficult to get. You might want to ask what sort of mapping system will be used to see the flutter as well as what method will be used to ablate.

Hi Higgy,

How are you?

I’ve just spotted your post and am in a similar position.

First PVI ablation 10 years ago- great result med and arrhythmia free for eight and a half years. Ablation for flutter plus touch up PVI last April seemed OK bar needing a cardioversion for flutter which started a few weeks after the procedure. Nine months on, I’m ending a second week in fast flutter.

I scheduled for investigation and possible touch up ablation in a couple of weeks.

Hope you’re back in NSR.

J
